Today’s Mycopreneur Incubator will be hosted by Ian Bollinger of Entheome Foundation, home of the Entheogen Genome Project. Ian is an entheogen researcher & educator who has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed papers on genome sequencing of wild fungi as well as had his analytical potency testing work featured in publications like Benzinga, Leafly and Inverse.

He's a mushroom scientist's mushroom scientist, and if you've ever wanted to check out the Mycopreneur Incubator, tomorrow will be a great sample size of what we get up to.

I'll be on a plane to Miami so won't be in attendance but the community shows up and holds it down regardless!

I found this interesting exchange on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. A post about a black fungus feeding on deadly gamma radiation in Chernobyl prompted a response from Grok, X’s AI chatbot, to express excitement about radiation eating fungi - but Grok expressed skepticism that humanity is close to ‘fungal spacesuits’ while waxing poetic about the off planet potential of applied mycology. Quick, somebody dose an AI and report back on the results.

Shoutout to our sponsors Minnesota Nice Ethnobotanicals, I’ve got a bunch of their products waiting for me in Miami so hit me up if you see me out there this weekend and I’ll hook you up with some samples - and for those not in Miami, click the popup below to stock up on the world’s best Amanita muscaria mushrooms and a wide array of other ‘dreaming plants’ and ethnobotanicals. Highly Recommend.
