This is a super interesting mushroom that I hope to see introduced to a broader audience in the coming years.

It has the texture and consistency of raw beef, which is probably why it's popularly known as 'Beefsteak Fungus'. It has a sour and tangy flavor and can be eaten raw.

I did a podcast with Jacob from Garden State Mushrooms a few years ago - He's been working on cultivating this mushroom for a number of years now, as it's so far eluded commercial cultivators.

The underground vape market has been absolutely popping off over the last few years, yet there's virtually no mention of it anywhere in the press. It's really no surprise that this is the path that MDMA-assisted therapy is being routed towards, and one wonders where the pendulum will fall along the path between personal freedoms and rigidly hierarchically controlled access models in the forthcoming 'legal psilocybin market.’
